Our client is embarking on a strategic initiative to transform their Digital Experience, focusing on enabling client onboarding and servicing for Deposit, Cash Management, and Treasury Solutions products. The program aims to support Commercial and Private banking clients by enhancing their onboarding experience to create a streamline process from start to end throughout the onboarding and servicing journey.
We are seeking a Business/Data Analyst with advanced Excel and Salesforce SOQL expertise to support a key strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the Digital Onboarding and Servicing Experience for Commercial and Private Banking clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy of commercial banking data while supporting API testing and data integration efforts for the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand the business objectives and functional requirements necessary to perform their roles efficiently and effectively
  • Elicit, capture and interpret business problems from multiple perspectives; present implications and recommendations with strategic perspective, influencing project parameters and outcomes
  • Perform requirements gathering, solution design, functionality development, user acceptance testing, training, and deployment
  • Develop requirements, write user stories, and design user interfaces of any new functionality that can be understood and built by the development team
  • Data Extraction & Analysis: Run multiple data extracts from various banking systems, including Commercial Online Banking and Deposit products, to identify and evaluate data quality concerns.
  • Data Quality Management: Analyze client data to pinpoint gaps, inconsistencies, or critical data issues, and work closely with internal business and technology teams to correct the data or facilitate data migration.
  • Salesforce SOQL Queries: Utilize Salesforce SOQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from the Salesforce platform, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
  • Advanced Excel Analysis: Apply advanced Excel techniques (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.) to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • API Testing Support: Collaborate with the technology team to support API testing by creating relevant data sets from extracted data and ensuring smooth data integration.
  • Data Integration Testing: Provide support for integration testing efforts by preparing and validating data sets, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Business, IT, Data Governance) to ensure data quality, compliance, and integration standards are met throughout the program.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Banking. Familiarity with Commercial Online Banking and Deposit Products is essential.
  • Familiarity with nCino, Salesforce, accessOptima, Digital One, BEB Commercial Online Banking, Wire (MTS), ACH (PEP+), Deposit (Systematics, IBS, Signature) Platforms or other treasury solutions product conducting client setups.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast paced / high-pressure environment.
  • Must have Advanced Excel skills with Lookups, Pivots, Slicers, Nesting functions, and power Query functions.
  • Must have experience with salesforce (SOQL), and other analytical tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including advanced Outlook, Word and Power Point
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while addressing client concerns, ensuring that each interaction reflects a commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Business Partners
  • Demonstrate ability to drive these to completion with effective customer service skills
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to process complex datasets, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights.

  • Looking for someone who can come and understand the data from business standpoint and identify any data gaps and drive data cleanup or migrations.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Hybrid Work Schedule with minimum 3 days onsite
